A Simple Way to Set the Air Conditioning Timer

Have you tried the Quick Timer?

We naturally seek simplicity. There is a certain beauty in things just making sense quickly and being easy to understand, use and without being unnecessarily over complicated.

Programming a timer on some appliances can be complicated for something which should be simple. When we designed the Quick Timer for AirTouch, we wanted to make it a fast process for users to set a countdown to turn on or off their air conditioner. With 3 simple interactions with the touch screen console on the wall, or with the app on AirTouch 4 or AirTouch 2 Plus you can have it set.

It is often we want to set a timer to turn on the system for a short time before we get home, or wake up. When you are in a hurry, no one wants to get confused with how to do something, we just want a simple, and easy process with an interface that makes sense.

Also, just heading to bed, if you want the cooling or heating to turn off in a few hours, the process should be fast and easy to set.

To use the Quick Timer, tap and hold the power button for a few seconds on the console. A window will appear, all you need to do is use the scroll wheels to set a countdown to on, or off, for your system and tap Confirm. The little clock will appear at the top of the screen to indicate that Quick Timer is active.

To cancel, just tap the clock, and choose your option to clear.

So there you have it, a simple, easy and fast way to set the time of your air conditioning. Our Quick Timer is a smart idea designed to make home comfort simple.
